Jose Miranda, Ryan Jeffers help Twins bash Tigers

Jose Miranda and Ryan Jeffers combined for eight hits and seven RBIs as the Minnesota Twins pounded the Detroit Tigers 12-3 on Thursday afternoon in Minneapolis.

The game was called in the bottom of the seventh due to inclement weather.

Miranda went 5-for-5 and scored four runs while driving in three. Jeffers' three hits included a homer along with four RBIs as the Twins too
