SE OKC motel catches fire for second time in a week

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — Firefighters responded to a fire at a Rodeway Inn near I-35 and SE 66th Street early Thursday afternoon.
According to the Oklahoma City Fire Department, the motel is closed for business and was supposed to be vacant at the time of the fire. The building previously caught fire on Monday morning.
Firefighters who arrived at the scene reportedly found a room on fire on the north side of the building.
One person was injured but was not taken to the hospital. Firefighters estimate that the fire caused less than $1,000 in damage to the property.
