Marlins place INF Otto Lopez (back) on 10-day injured list

The Miami Marlins placed infielder Otto Lopez on the 10-day injured list on Thursday due to lower back inflammation.

The move, retroactive to Monday, comes after Lopez missed games Tuesday and Wednesday. He felt something in his back during Tuesday's pregame weightlifting session, said manager Skip Schumaker, who had hoped Lopez would be available off the bench.
