NYC health officials prepping for bird flu

NEW YORK (PIX11) -  The bird flu has spread to 12 states, and local health officials are starting to take notice. 

Dr. Eric Ascher, from Northwell Lenox Hill Hospital, joins PIX11 News to discuss the threat of the bird flu in our area, common symptoms of the disease, and what lessons learned from COVID will be applied to this outbreak.
