FOOTIE fans are going wild for Primark’s England football T-shirts that cost just £6.
Although the tops are in the kids range, that hasn’t stopped adults stocking up on them too, ahead of Saturday’s Euros game.
Primark fans are loving their £6 England tops[/caption]Glam TikTok user @angelapowerxo showed how she had picked up one of the bargain tops for the weekend.
She wrote: “This is your sign to get to Primark Kids section for £6.
“England baby tees.”
She added: “Get those Euro baby tees girly its coming home!!”
Angela showed herself wearing the top and it fit her perfectly, despite being in the children’s section.
She added: “I got age 6-7, 8+ was in another section of the shop which I saw after buying but we want it fitted anyway.
“In the boys section! Might be worth going to a big Primark!”
People were quick to say how great she looked, with one commenting: “it look hella cute on you girl.”
Another added: “I want oneeee.”
And a third wrote: “I need to go!!”
Primark currently has a number of clothing items in their football range, including white England shirts from £7.
They also have cropped adult tops for £5 that could be paired with jeans or skirts.
Primark’s website says: “There’s nothing more exhilarating than watching your favourite team play, so we’re channelling that same excitement with our football team clothes!
“You’ll love bringing a sporty twist to your casual ensembles with our football apparel, while our football clothing for kids will have them cheering at home or from the stands in style.
England's five-point penalty shootout plan
EXPERT football psychologist Professor Geir Jordet has told Gareth Southgate and his players what they can do to give themselves the best chance of victory in any shootouts.
And he has even thrown in a rogue, bold suggestion for the Three Lions manager…
1. START PLANNING LAST YEAR
“It’s about planning for the opposition’s penalty takers but also ‘how do we win the psychological game against each opponent?’
2. SMART SOUTHGATE LEADERSHIP
“Southgate will have two minutes to influence his players as effectively as possible, show he has a plan and get confidence across.”
3. DICTATE AS A TEAM
“A shootout is really a team performance. Have the goalkeeper walk with the penalty taker into the penalty area to basically create a two-versus-one against the other goalkeeper. Dominate the centre circle, support the players who missed.”
4. ‘BULLETPROOF’ INDIVIDUAL ROUTINES
“Have really good, individualised and rehearsed pre-shot routines that are bulletproof and polished so they’re more likely to be able to resist the stress and more likely to score.”
5. SHOOT YOUR SHOT
“Practise the shot itself, trying to simulate penalty shootouts in training. Even recreating 20 per cent of a Euros final penalty shootout is going to have a benefit for your performance.”
AND A JOR DROPPING IDEA…
Jordan Pickford is the No1 but Dean Henderson actually has a far better penalty record – saving 8/22 (36 per cent) compared to Pickford’s 8/62 (13 per cent).
Jordet said: “One could consider making a late substitution for a penalty shootout. I doubt that they dare to do it in case it fails and the pressure is even higher but it would be a very ballsy move.”
“Plus, our range of national football shirts and shorts will make sure your little one looks the part when watching the Euros.”
England have made it into the quarter-finals of Euro 2024 after a nail-biting win over Slovakia.
Gareth Southgate‘s side appeared to be heading OUT of Euro 2024 but Jude Bellingham scored a stunning 95th-minute overhead kick to send the game into extra time.
England will take on Switzerland in the quarter-finals of Euro 2024 after beating Slovakia.
The match will be played on Saturday, July 6 at Dusseldorf’s Merkur Spiel-Arena – with kick off at 5pm BST.
