A SAVVY deals expert has revealed the top 10 things shoppers should pick up on their next visit to Home Bargains. 

A post on the LatestDeals TikTok page has showcased the best bargain finds currently available at the discount variety store

Home Bargains is selling mason jar’s for 99p

Amongst the products currently available are a colourful fruit themed mason jars, which shoppers can pick up for just 99p. 

The trendy jars, which come with a straw for users to drink out of, are available to buy in a lemon, strawberry or orange themed pattern. 

Keeping with the summer theme, the social media star also flagged a purple beach bag which is available now for £4.99. 

A blossom tree solar light for £29.99 was also flagged as a bargain find for shoppers looking to brighten up their garden. 

As Brits hold out hope for another spell of warm weather,  a cooling mist spray fan is also now in stores for £1.99. 

Bigger finds include a hanging egg chair for £199.99. 

Tom Church, who runs the LastestDeals page, said the chair was perfect for a “summer read or a sneaky nap”.

Other finds in Home Bargains at the moment include storage baskets for £3.99 and a giant outdoors noughts and crosses game for £2.99.

Elsewhere, is a microfiber beach towel for £4.99.

Home Bargains often leaves shoppers gobsmacked thanks to its ability to stock reasonably priced furniture and quirky finds. 

Shoppers were recently wowed after they spotted a popular Asian drink at the discount store for just £1.95. 

Eagle-eyed customers noticed the retailer was stocking bubble tea, a popular Taiwanese drink that has taken the UK by storm. 

Punters can pay upwards of £5 for the drink at a cafe but Home Bargains was charging just £1.95. 

It is important to remember you do not need to buy these items and it is always worth shopping around to find what works you and your budget.

How to shop for deals

You can shop for items at Home Bargains both online and in store. 

However, stock levels vary from site to site so it is worth calling up your local site to avoid disappointment. 

Deals at Home Bargains

If you are unsure where your nearest Home Bargains store is, you can read a full list of locations on the brand’s website. 

When hunting for a deal it is important to shop around make sure you are not being over charged.

There are plenty of comparison websites out there that’ll check prices for you – so don’t be left paying more than you have to.

Aldi and Lidl

Both Aldi and Lidl have brought back their £5 school uniform deal, which offers customers the chance to pick up a full uniform at a bargain price.

The low cost deal is coming to stores across the UK from Thursday, July 4

But the offer will only run until stocks last so if you are keen to nab a bargain you will have to act quickly. 

M&S

Marks and Spencer has brought back its early bird saving deal, which offers 20% uniforms in July. 

The British retailer has held prices on its school uniform items since 2021. 

The range includes everything from a two pack of school trousers starting from £8.80 and a three pack of school shirts with prices starting at £7.20

Argos

Argos is still running its Summer Sale, which offers a discount on over 1000 goods. Up for grabs is a Polygroup Summer Waves 10ft Quick Up Paddling Pool going for £30 down from £60. 

Additionally, punters can pick up a  Summer Waves Skip It Sprinkle for £9 marked down from £21. 

Spending less this summer

Summer can be an expensive time for families so it is important to shop around for deals to help you spend less. 

Supermarkets such as Sainsbury’sTesco and Asda all have loyalty cards which help you save on your shop.

Meanwhile, every week Aldi releases a list of special buys , which are unique bargain products you find online and in store. 

The store releases a fresh range of deals every Thursday and Sunday, so be sure to check regularly to see what’s new. 

Meanwhile, fellow German discounter Lidl also has its middle aisle deals, which sell discounted non-food items.
