Bodies of all Hathras stampede victims identified, handed over to kin

District Magistrate Asish Kumar confirmed on Thursday that all 121 victims of the Hathras stampede, primarily women, have been identified and their bodies handed over to their families. Three bodies were initially unidentified, but two were identified late Wednesday night. Additionally, one body was identified via a video call with the family in Aligarh hospital. The tragic incident occurred during self-styled godman Baba Bhole's satsang in Hathras, where the crowd surpassed 2.5 lakh despite a permitted limit of 80,000 people.
