Scottie Scheffler wins 2024 Memorial Tournament by one stroke

DUBLIN, Ohio (WCMH) — Scottie Scheffler held on to capture his first ever Memorial Tournament title, finishing with a final round 74 and ending up with 8-under overall for the week. This is the 11th career victory on the PGA Tour for the world’s top golfer and his fifth this season. Collin Morikawa finished second and Canadian Adam Hadwin placed third. Scheffler joins Tiger Woods as the only golfers to win the Arnold Palmer Invitational, the Players Championship, the Masters and the Memorial Tournament in the same year. “I didn’t have my best stuff, but man, I felt like I hit a lot of good shots that were just barely off.
