Police: Teen found with gun in Poughkeepsie

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- State Police announced that they have arrested a 17-year-old for having an illegal gun. The teen, whose name has not been released, faces multiple charges.

Charges

• Criminal possession of a weapon
• Criminal possession of a firearm
• Unlawful possession of certain ammunition-feeding devices

This arrest follows a traffic stop where police say they found the 17-year-old passenger with a Glock model 43 handgun. The juvenile was arraigned in Poughkeepsie Court and placed in a juvenile facility.
