John Starks cancels upcoming appearance in Albany

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Heroes Hideout in Crossgates Mall announced that former New York Knicks star John Starks has dropped off his meet and greet planned for July 13. The store stated that the cancelation is due to scheduling conflicts.

Starks was originally scheduled to make an appearance alongside Tim Kitzrow for an "NBA Jam Day" celebration. NEWS10 interviewed Starks back in 2023 while he was in the area for an event in Latham.

Heroes Hideout is still set to host the meet and greet with Kitzrow. The voice actor is known for his work on "NBA Jam," "NFL Blitz" and "MLB Slugfest." The event will kick off at noon.
