Oscar-winning 'Chinatown' screenwriter Robert Towne dies at 89

Academy Award-winning screenwriter Robert Towne, 89, died at his Los Angeles home Monday while surrounded by his family, publicist Carri McClure announced with commenting on his cause of death.
