Police investigating shooting in SE Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - Police are investigating after a shooting left one person injured Wednesday morning.

According to police, one person was found with a gunshot wound in a Walmart parking lot near I-40 and Sooner Rd. around 11 a.m.

Officials say an argument between several people led to the shooting near the 5200 block of Brookdale Dr.

The victim attempted to take themselves to a hospital but could only make it to the Walmart parking lot where they called 911. They were taken to a nearby hospital shortly after.

No other injuries have been reported.

No arrests have been made as the investigation continues.
