Noughties indie band reveal one-off comeback gig in London for 20th anniversary with tickets on-sale THIS week
A HUGE noughties indie band is making a one-off comeback to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut album.
Razorlight first formed in 2002 and took a brief hiatus in 2014.
In honour of their Up All Night album turning 20, they will be performing at the O2 Academy Brixton.
The ‘America’ hit makers recently released a deluxe edition of the LP to mark the milestone.
There’s also 17 additional B-sides, which have never been released on streaming platforms.
There is also a mini documentary called Razorlight: Fall to Pieces with “frank interviews with people who worked on the record or were around the band in 2003/4”.
Frontman Johnny Borrell revealed that the group were slated for how they conducted themselves.
In an interview with Music-news.com, Johnny insisted that they can still “rock f****** hard”.
“I’ve been looking back on that time because of getting involved with the documentary, and yeah, it was wild, messy, unpredictable, f*** or be f*****, leave everything out there kind of record,” he said.

“Even people in indie clubs who say they hate me always say, ‘Well your first album was really good’ Maybe they’ll drop the hate but keep listening.
“We’re still in great shape and we still rock f****** hard so it should be a great show.”
Razorlight will be supported by fellow noughties band Mystery Jets.
The band first started to have issues in 2008 when their third album Slipway Fires struggled to make an impact.
The record debuted at number four and failed to produce any memorable singles.
Andy Burrows then quit the band in 2009 before the departures of Swedish bassist Carl Dalemo and Björn Ågren in 2011.
However, the band are now back and are ready to return to the stage.
Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10pm and can be purchased through the band’s website.
