Jared McCain as you no doubt know was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers and there we may see a bit of a collision between his sunny California nature and the unforgiving Philadelphia fan base. This is a city, remember, that once owned Santa Claus.

McCain is an immensely charming guy though and if he can produce on the court, the Philly fans will love him.

An interesting variable here is his Tik Tok career. McCain has built a significant following on Tik Tok and he ha a chance to take it to another level.

Of course that’s not popular with everyone and he’s hearing from some of the negative Nancys. New teammate Paul George has stuck up for him, which is pretty cool, but he’s going to hear about it - at least until he proves himself.

Once you show you belong, you get a lot more latitude in the NBA.
