Local officials in Helmand, Parwan, Maidan Wardak, and Laghman provinces report that 25 people, including children and women, were killed or injured in several traffic accidents.

A spokesperson for the Laghman police stated that at 12:00 PM, two Rickshaws collided with two motorcycles in the Sarakhan and Kakah Shahrah area of ​​the No. 7 highway in Laghman province, resulting in 12 injuries, including two seriously wounded.

In another incident on the transit road of Balkh district, two motorcycles collided, resulting in one fatality and three others injured.

Around 10:00 AM on Tuesday, one person was killed in the Tanke Tila Babar area of ​​Bagram district, Parwan province, as a Corolla car collided with a vehicle while attempting to cross from the southbound to the northbound lane.

Meanwhile, local officials in Helmand province report that in a traffic incident in Musa Qala district, one child died, and six others, including women, lost their lives.

Local authorities in Maidan Wardak province state that as a result of another traffic incident in Saydabad district, Maidan Wardak province, an 11-year-old child lost their life.

Traffic accidents in the country have recently seen a significant increase.
