ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The rock band Heart has postponed the rest of their Royal Flush Tour, which included a stop at MVP Arena in Albany. According to Heart's Facebook page, the tour was postponed due to medical reasons.

Heart's concert at MVP Arena was originally scheduled for August 10 with special guest Cheap Trick. Fans are encouraged to hold on to their tickets for the rescheduled tour dates when they are announced. More information is set to be announced in the coming weeks, said Heart.

Heart was founded in 1973 by sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson. They are best known for the songs “Barracuda,” “Crazy on You,” and “Alone,” as well as many other hits.

On X, Ann Wilson revealed that she recently underwent surgery to remove something that was cancerous. Her doctors are advising her to go through preventative chemotherapy and she is planning to be back on stage in 2025.

"Thank you all for the support," said Wilson. "This is merely a pause. I've much more to sing."
