Heart's Ann Wilson Reveals Cancer Diagnosis, Will Postpone Tour to 2025
Heart lead singer Ann Wilson has revealed that she’s battling cancer.
The 74-year-old musician will be taking the rest of the year off while undergoing chemotherapy, so the band’s 2024 is being rescheduled for next year.
“Dear friends, I recently underwent an operation to remove something that, as it turns out, was cancerous,” she wrote on Instagram. “The operation was successful & I’m feeling great but my doctors are now advising me to undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy & I’ve decided to do it. And so my doctors are instructing me to take the rest of the year away from the stage in order to fully recover.”
Ann assured fans she’ll be back on stage.
