MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) – A New Rochelle man who went missing in New York City over the weekend was “acting paranoid” before his disappearance, police said.

Neyson Estela, 20, was last seen on Manhattan’s west side on Saturday, according to the New Rochelle Police Department.

Estela was said to be acting paranoid before he went missing. He told his brother that people were following him, according to police. He also posted on social media saying “BYE” to his family, police said.

Estela’s family last saw him leaving an address on Pleasant Street in New Rochelle on a bicycle on Friday, police said.

A day later, the 20-year-old was spotted in the area of Pier 84 near Twelfth Avenue and West 46th Street in Manhattan. Estela was last seen running northbound after taking off his shirt and backpack, police said.

Estela is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 136 pounds. He was wearing a black T-shirt, black shorts, black sneakers, gray baseball hat and was carrying a black backpack, according to police.

Anyone with information on Estela’s whereabouts is asked to contact the New Rochelle Police Department at 914-654-2300.
