The Dutchess County Sheriff's Office reported that an injured German Shepherd was found near 6180 Route 22 in the town of North East.
DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Dutchess County Sheriff's Office reported that an injured German Shepherd was found near 6180 Route 22 in the town of North East. The dog was located around 2:36 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
The German Shepherd was taken to Guardian Veterinary Specialists in Brewster to be treated for severe life-threatening injuries. Deputies say the dog was possibly struck by a vehicle.
The animal's owner is currently unknown. Anyone with information is urged to call the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office at (845)486-3800.
