Casa Amor’s explosive recoupling is just hours away as Maya Jama flies into Love Island villa
LOVE Island is about to experience a major shake-up – if a key clue is anything to go by.
Currently in its 11th series, the popular ITV2 dating show has entered a pivotal stage of its drama-infused process.
The familiar Casa Amor twist sees 12 newcomers brought into the existing dynamic, with the intention of shaking things up among the couples.
Taking to Instagram, viewers learned the show’s presenter Maya Jama is in Mallorca as fans suspect a recoupling is imminent.
One wrote on X/Twitter: “It looks like the casa recoupling takes place tonight, I’m not ready to watch it tomorrow or Thursday.”
Another added: “Joey, Ayo, Will deffo recoupling #LoveIsland #loveisland.”
Some of the established pairings already look to be in danger, such as Ayo and Mimii – as fans insist one of them should rethink their coupling choice.
Both Ayo, 25, from Canning Town and Mimii, 24, from Portsmouth, arrived at the villa on day one.
They had been previously coupled with other islanders – Patsy and Uma in Ayo’s case, as well as Munveer for Mimii – before coupling up themselves.
While the pair have been separated during Casa Amor, they have each been pursued by new arrivals.
Mimii was approached by Lionel Awudu, 24, from Reading, asking if she’d like to share a bed.
However, Lionel didn’t quite get the answer he’d hoped for, as Mimii replied: “I’m sleeping outside tonight, just for tonight.”
In the meantime, Ayo was seen growing close to Jessica Spencer, 25, back at the main villa.
Having made a beeline for Ayo, Jessica later asked while they were sat in the kitchen: “What’s your type?”
Ayo laughs: “I can’t say it… You, innit. I love a pretty face. That’s my problem.”
Jessica smiles: “Pretty faces are meant to cause problems…”
Fellow new girl Lucy Graybill, 26, joins as the first Scottish contestant of this series.
Before appearing on screens, the retail boss shared which of the boys she had her eye on.
Lucy revealed: “Ciaran and Wil are both my front runners at the moment so I am looking forward to going in there, getting to know them and assess the energy.
