Mason Plumlee Signs With The Suns
Phoenix is up to two members of the Brotherhood
Mason Plumlee is 34 now and he graduated from Duke in 2013. He’s been in the NBA ever since, which means an 11-year career and counting.
He’s moved around a lot, having played for Brooklyn, Portland, Denver, Detroit, Charlotte and lately the L.A. Clippers.
But he’s a free agent now and he’ll be playing for Phoenix as Plumlee signed a one-year $3.3 million dollar deal on Monday to join the Suns. He’ll be teammates with Grayson Allen which is kind of cool.
It’s also cool that at 34, Plumlee is still in demand as a player. Not everyone can sustain it for that long. He’s not a cutting edge player; Plumlee is a role player. But he embraces his role and is highly professional, which is why he is still in demand.
