‘Embarrassed’ mum leaves others sobbing as she begs strangers for cash to buy nappies – but her ‘desperate’ efforts work
A WOMAN has ‘desperately’ begged strangers for cash to buy her baby nappies.
The mother, who is named Marissa, explained that she and her family are “broke” and “homeless” and confirmed that although she receives help from the government, it’s still not enough to make ends meet.

Posting online, the brunette beauty, who is currently living in a motel and is looking to secure a pet sitting job so that she can afford a permanent place to stay, shared a video of her holding her baby.
Alongside the clip, Marissa, who revealed that she is a college graduate, explained that she was “embarrassed” to open up about her financial situation.
She said: “My baby girl is in her last diaper right now and I can’t afford to get any for another week.
“Life is hitting hard right now and we’re barely able to afford a roof and food.
“I’m desperate at this point. If you can help out in any way, I’d be so grateful.”
Marissa highlighted that her husband is working 15 hour days to try and earn a living, but she has had to reduce her hours to look after her baby girl.
Not only this, but she has a low credit score, meaning that renting is “nearly impossible” and she doesn’t have any family or close friends to help her out.
The mother shared a link to her GoFundMe page, as she admitted she was ‘desperate’ to raise money for her baby.
In a follow-up clip, Marissa shared a close-up look as she was shopping in a supermarket, as she showed off the shelves full of Pampers nappies.
Responding to a comment from a troll that read ‘Trust me she’s not making any money from this’, the mother clapped back and wrote: “So so thankful to everyone that has been supportive of my last video.
“Blessed to report that I received just enough money to get a box of diapers for my baby girl – should last us a couple weeks.”
