Road closures and where to park for Red, White & BOOM!
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) - Over 400,000 people are expected to come Downtown for the biggest fireworks show in the Midwest: Red, White & BOOM! and there will be several road closures and parking options for those making their way to Downtown.
Road Closures for BOOM!
- Washington Boulevard from Broad Street to Main Street: June 29-July 4
- Civic Center Drive from Broad Street to Main Street: July 1 at 9 a.m. through July 4
- Belle Street from Broad to Main: July 2 from 9 a.m. through July 4 at 6 a.m.
- Marconi Boulevard from Long Street to Broad Street: July 2 from 5 p.m. to July 4 at 6 a.m.
- North curb lane of Broad Street from Cumberland Trail marker to Belle Street: July 2 from 5 p.m. to July 4 at 6 a.m.
For the fireworks show, all streets south of Spring Street, north of Mound Street, east of McDowell Street and west of Third Street will close July 3 from 5:30 p.m. to midnight.

Parking options for BOOM!
Handicapped options are available from the north side of Second Street from Mound Street to Civic Center Drive and Gay Street between High and Front streets.
There are several reserved and nonreserved parking options and surface lots available. The events parking options include Arena District, Columbus Commons, Greater Columbus Convention Center and Park Columbus.

You can also zoom to BOOM! with COTA, which is offering round trips for families from 6 to 8 p.m. Adults are $4, children ages 5 to 12 years old are $2 and kids under 2 are free. Customers can purchase fares using the Transit app or COTA Smartcard.
After the fireworks show ends, COTA express lines and regular local service will leave Downtown
from designated Red, White & BOOM! boarding zones along High Street from State Street to Nationwide Boulevard at 10:30 p.m.,11 p.m., 11:30 p.m. and midnight.
