After a cool start, it was a beautiful day today, with highs in the upper 70s to near 80. We will see another crisp night tonight with most of our area in the mid to upper 50s. We will have some in the lower 50s to upper 40s (mainly in the east).

Tuesday, expect another beautiful day with sunshine, and warmer temps, climbing into the 80s by lunch, and into the upper 80s. Wednesday will start much warmer in the lower 70s, and humidity will build quickly for Wednesday. Wednesday will be a steamy day with highs in the lower to middle 90s, with high humidity as well. Expect a chance of a few afternoon showers and storms, with unfortunately, better chances of storms heading into the evening hours. This doesn't mean a washout for the Boom, but it will be something to be aware of, vs a night like tonight when the weather is nearly perfect.

This front that pushes through Wednesday night, will slowly sag south. This boundary will be nearby with additional disturbances possible to ripple through on Thursday and Friday, with lower threat both days for strong to severe storms. In addition, temps will be a bit more seasonal on Thursday and Friday with highs in the middle 80s.

Friday night a weak cold front will push through, but will be important, because behind the front, high pressure will build in for the weekend, with clearing skies and highs in the middle 80s both Saturday and Sunday. Expect the high to move off for Monday and Tuesday of next week with chances of storms late in the day on Monday and into Tuesday with highs in the upper 80s.
