Firefighters battle multi-home fire in NW OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — Oklahoma City firefighters responded to a fire involving two houses near N Council Road and W Wilshire Boulevard on Monday night.

According to OKCFD, crews arrived to heavy flames coming through the roof of one of the houses. They believe the fire may have originated between the two homes.

A total of 45 to 50 firefighters were on scene working to extinguish the blaze.

While firefighters say there were reports of fireworks in the area, the official cause of the fire is still under investigation.

No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
