Fire damages mobile home in Mire Saturday

MIRE, La. (KLFY) -- A mobile home in Mire was damaged in a fire on Saturday, authorities said.
Firefighters said they responded to a residential fire in the 100 block of Bobby Gene Drive Saturday with Branch VFD assisting.
Firefighters found a single-wide trailer with light smoke showing from the rear of the residence. Firefighters entered and found the back bedroom door closed. Upon entering the room, firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire, authorities said.
Fire damage was contained to the bedroom, with light smoke damage.
No injuries were reported. The fire was determined to be accidental in nature, officials said.
