Sharna Burgess Shares Precious Video of Son Zane Saying His Vowels & There's One He Refuses to Say
Sharna Burgess is officially a mom of a 2-year-old! The Dancing with the Stars pro took to Instagram to share an adorable video of her son Zane to celebrate his birthday, and we can’t get over the feisty cuteness.
“2 YEARS OLD ???? the twos… the terrible twos the terrific twos the ‘just slow down a minute!!’ twos,” she captioned the post. “It’s all the things and it’s everything I’ve ever wanted. Being his Mama is the greatest joy of my life. ♥️”
In the sweet selfie video, Burgess encourages her son — who she shares with fiance Brian Austin Green — to say his vowels. “Zaney say, ‘A,'” she says, prompting the blond-haired, blue-eyed boy to say, “A.” But no, he does not say it with his mom’s Australian accent. He follows suit as she continues to prompt him through the vowels.
Until she gets to “U.”
“Zaney say, ‘U,'” she says, and Zane just stares at the camera and has no interest, starting to wriggle out of his mom’s arms. “No ‘U’?” she asks. “No ‘U,'” he agrees, proving that he can say it. He just won’t say it on command. And that’s quite alright! The video ends there, so who knows how he feels about “Y.”
“Happy Birthday my Zane Walker Green,” the proud mom continued her caption. “I love you beyond measure and words. Thank you for choosing me ♥️”
Followers were head over heels for the little cutie. “Goodness he is just soooo handsome and precious!!” “So darn sweeeeeet” “Aaawww he’s so beautiful & big already.”
Burgess is also stepmom to Green’s kids — Kassius, 21, who he shares with ex Vanessa Marcil, and his kids Noah, 11, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, 7, who he shares with ex-wife Megan Fox — who she called her “bonus babies” in a recent post detailing her “storybook romance” with Green.
Last year, on Zane’s first birthday, the professional dancer wrote an incredibly moving caption about how her stepkids have completed her dream of having a big family.
“Once upon a time I thought my wish for a big family, lots of babies, a home filled with love, chaos and tiny handprints everywhere just wasn’t ALL possible,” she wrote. “And then suddenly it wasn’t just possible… it was happening.”
“The love in this home is unreal and I had no idea it could be this wonderful,” she continued. “I’m overwhelmed, I’m emotional and I’m ridiculously happy.”
