If you're looking for an excuse to do some retail therapy, well, have we got news for you! If you haven't heard, Walmart recently announced that "its largest savings event ever" will take place from Monday, July 8 to Thursday, July 11. While the event has been formally named "Walmart Deals" we've casually dubbed it Walmart's anti-Prime Day sale because the event kicks off a week before Amazon's annual summer sale, which will take place from July 16 to 17.

During Walmart's alternative Prime Day sale, there will be lots of deals on AOL reader favorites, from the Neutrogena moisturizer Jennifer Garner loves, to the tabletop fire pit that'll revolutionize s'more making, and even Crest Whitestrips — a longtime Prime Day bestseller. Walmart+ members will get early access to shop the sales before everyone else. The sale opens to everyone at 5 p.m. ET on July 8, but Walmart+ members can start shopping at noon ET.
