'Really sick': Marjorie Taylor Greene erupts as Republicans bail on Bannon jail surrender
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) complained Monday that her fellow Republican lawmakers failed to show up to support convicted criminal Steve Bannon as he surrendered for his four-month prison sentence.
During an interview on Real America's Voice, host Terrance Bates asked Greene why no other lawmakers were with her outside the federal prison in Danbury, Connecticut.
"Today, it looks like you're the only person on site in support of Steve Bannon," Bates noted. "Where are your fellow Congress members, and what message do you think their absence is sending right now?"
"Well, you know, as usual with the Republican Party, it's too little, too late," Greene complained. "And Republican voters are sick and tired of starving at the dinner table like dogs. And then the Republicans, finally, in the last midnight hour, toss a few crumbs on the ground."

Greene argued that Republicans should have worked to undermine Bannon's contempt of Congress conviction as soon as they took control of the U.S. House of Representatives.
"And you know, look, I'm tired of the Republican Party that sits around and makes all these claims on television, talks big and tough on the campaign trail, but never delivers on what they promised their voters and their donors," the lawmaker said.
"They want that America back, but they're really sick and tired of the Republican Party," she added. "So I really fear for what is the future of the Republican Party, that never followed through on their promises to their voters, but yet depend on President Trump being on."
