STEP inside this legendary jockey’s ‘spectacular’ £3.8million home known as ‘paradise’ – featuring a Jacuzzi in the bedroom.

Mick Kinane could afford to splash a few euros on this astonishing home after his career in the saddle.

Unbeaten in six, he won the 2000 Guineas, Derby, Coral-Eclipse, Juddmonte, Irish Champion Stakes and Arc de Triomphe, with Kinane doing the steering in all of them.

Sea The Stars, who was trained by John Oxx, won more than £4m, with Kinane – who also rode Sir Alex Ferguson’s Rock Of Gibraltar to success – enjoying a tasty cut of that.

He used a chunk of it to build this idyllic rural retreat near Punchestown and Naas racecourses in Ireland.

With more than 80 acres of land and described as being like ‘paradise’, it’s perfect for those seeking peace and quiet but with city life in Dublin not too far away.

Kinane put the 9,000sq ft main house and sprawling estate on the market at the end of May.

And already it has been sold to an unnamed ‘overseas buyer’ with very deep pockets.

Settled at the top of a private driveway protected by two big wrought iron gates, Eadling House boasts five en-suite bedrooms.

The master bedroom is described as a ‘sanctuary’ and features a Jacuzzi bath and private balcony with views over the land.

There are two further outbuildings on the estate and a barn perfect for housing horses who can run on the ‘ample paddocks’.

It’s good for those who aren’t interested in horses too, with a full-sized tennis court on-site and its own sauna.

The house was due to go up for public auction next week but the buyer moved in quickly to snap up a deal before anyone else.

Legend has it Kinane was mowing the lawn outside the property some 20 years ago when a passing driver approached asking for directions.

She asked: “Is this Ronan Keating’s house?”

Kinane replied: “No, I live here.”

To which she hit back: “Get away. You couldn’t live in a house like this!”

Will Coonan of Coonan Property said: “This impressive property is something very special and is very attractive due to its acreage and location within Kildare.

“It will suit a large number of purchasers and we anticipate strong interest with a renewed focus on country living.”

Kinane’s fellow Irish racing legend Jim Culloty said recently he was ‘heartbroken’ to put his £3.8m property on the market.

The former Grand National winner and Cheltenham Festival legend spent a fortune on the seven-bedroom property.

And he said: “It breaks my heart to sell it, but my kids are not interested.

“They have grown up British and all of their friends and interests are there.

“If it was in Killarney, where I am from, I would keep it, but it is just that bit too far from there.”
