Two more military horses run loose on streets of London in shocking video

TWO more military horses have been seen running loose on the streets of London

The two black horses were spotted cantering around St George’s Drive in Pimlico, central London, at around 8.30am on Monday.

Footage obtained by The Sun shows the two horses running along the middle of the road, with drivers having to pull over.

They are understood to have lost their riders, before roaming freely around the capital.

The horses were eventually calmed and caught at around 9.30am.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “We’re aware that a number of horses were loose in central London and worked with the Army to locate them.

“We’re pleased to confirm that all of the horses have been accounted for. We are continuing to liaise with the Army.”

A police officer also told The Telegraph: “Two horses lost their riders and went on a run.

“We are now waiting for horse boxes to take them away. There were no injuries.”

It comes weeks after a number of Household Cavalry horses escaped in central London.

Five are said to have been spooked by rubble being dropped through a plastic tunnel while on an exercise in Belgravia on April 24.

The Ministry of Defence has been contacted for more information.
