NATIONAL SUMMARY
Tomorrow, much of the northern Plains and a portion of the
High Plains will face the potential for severe thunderstorms
as a storm tracks across the nation's center, bringing the
chance for hail, localized damaging winds and perhaps some
tornadoes from eastern Wyoming and far southeastern Montana,
across Nebraska and much of the Dakotas, reaching western
Minnesota and Iowa overnight. An additional area of more
general thunderstorm activity will extend through zones from
the central Gulf Coast eastward through Florida and
northward through the North Carolina coastline. Pop-up
thundershowers will also build around the Four Corners
states, with storms reaching northward through the Rockies
into Idaho. Drier air arrives in the Northeast, with mainly
dry conditions for the West Coast as well.
