Dana bashed: CNN host called to 'resign' after letting Lindsey Graham steamroll her on air
CNN host Dana Bash came under fire over the weekend after an interview in which Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) went on an angry rant and stated he was looking forward to going after President Joe Biden and members of his administration if Donald Trump wins re-election in November.
Graham appeared Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union," where he ranted about Biden, accusing the president of being "compromised" as Bash sat there and failed to fact-check him in much the same manner as she also failed to fact-check Trump when she was co-moderator on the CNN-hosted debate on Thursday evening.
After Graham mentioned the lack of fact-checking during the debate and then predicted the country was going to "have a resetting," she finally interrupted and asked, "I want to get to a couple of important issues sir, but you just warned of retribution?"

But that wasn't enough to satisfy several viewers, who took to social media to bash Bash.
@VK092368 wrote, "I don’t know who is worse: Dana Bash or Lindsey Graham."
@RonaldWilson249 said, "Dana Bash still is sitting there like a Stepford Wife not fact checking Ms. Graham on her lies again!"'
@RobotPiratNinja chimed in: "I've seen enough. Dana Bash should resign. When Lindsey Graham is telling you, you're a great journalist because you don't check facts a couple days after a presidential debate, you should resign."
@JamesHu50027523 added, "Watching Dana Bash‘s interview of Lindsey Graham on CNN‘s SOTU, nice to see she’s just as competent in a debate as she is as the moderator of her show, once again she let the Republican lie his f------ a-- off and didn’t say a f------ thing to correct him. This is not journalism!"
@aprrey66 wrote, "Watching Lindsey Graham talking about how great Trump's presidency was and how terrible Biden's has been, I felt like it must be opposite day on CNN. He talked about Trump's great debate, never mentioned all the lies. Good old Dana Bash just sat there, never challenged anything."
