Joelle Murray Joins Grant Scott’s Coaching Staff
Hibernian FC can confirm that Joelle Murray will join Grant Scott’s coaching staff ahead of the 24/25 season.
Our former Club captain will take up the duties of first-team coach for the upcoming 2024/25 season!
After making over 500 appearances, our club’s longest-serving player hung up her boots at the end of last season and will now be an ever-present on the sidelines as part of Grant Scott’s backroom staff.
As part of the role, Joelle will be involved daily in the planning and delivery of training sessions at HTC. She will also be working with the wider recruitment department on scouting the next generation of Hibernian stars.
Aside from the coaching, Joelle will continue her role at Easter Road as the Club’s Junior Development Manager inspiring and engaging young supporters and the younger demographic.
On her new role, Joelle was delighted to continue working within the Club on the pitch: “Retiring from playing was a difficult decision, but as I said at the time, it knew it was the correct decision for me.
I am thrilled to embark on this new journey with Grant and the wider staff group at the Club. Coaching has always been a passion of mine, and I look forward to contributing to the development and success of the Club.”
Manager Grant Scott was also delighted to continue working with Joelle: “Having Joelle join our coaching staff is a massive benefit for us all. Her experience, passion, and dedication to the Club are unparalleled, and I am confident she will be a tremendous asset to our team.
Stewart, Joelle and I are determined to take Hibernian back to where we feel we belong and continue to inspire the squad to their maximum potential.”
