George Latimer sets his sights on the NY-16 general election
NEW YORK (PIX11) -- Westchester County Executive George Latimer defeated incumbent Rep. Jamaal Bowman with 58 percent of the vote on Tuesday in the NY-16 Democratic primary.
Latimer now sets his sights on the general election, telling PIX on Politics host Dan Mannarino that his experience as a county executive and state legislator explains why he can best represent the people of Westchester.
"The unifying message isn't my demographic, not necessarily the rhetoric that came out of this campaign. It's doing things that people want to see," he said.
