DYE DISASTER
She explained how her locks began to fall out after she attempted to color them at home.
“Okay, I just need to tell everyone about this because my mind is literally blown right now!” she said, writing under the handle Dasuberblonde.
“I’ve always been a platinum blonde and have done my own hair for ages.
“I only need to lift 2 levels and use a high lift dye, so I’ve never had MAJOR hair damage, but made sure to use Olaplex once a week or so.
“I made the horrible mistake of thinking I’d look good as a redhead.
“Needless to say, I ended up bleaching that s**t out of my hair the next week.
“It took two full rounds of bleach and I had to cut about 4 inches of hair.
“My hair was gummy and falling apart!”
She tried “several rounds” of products from different haircare brands before turning to L’Oreal Bond Repair Conditioner.
She left the conditioner for color-treated hair in her tresses overnight and then washed it out.
“After ONE USE my hair had bounced back about 50%,” she said.
“Pretty sure L’Oreal is the same company that makes the Redken bond repair products, which I admittedly haven’t tried yet.
“I’ve left it in my hair overnight twice a week for the last three weeks, and I swear to God my hair has never been this healthy.
“You wouldn’t know I ever bleached it!
“Still regrowing the hair I lost, but my split ends are completely gone and I have no flyaways or fried hair anymore!! It’s a GODSEND!!!!”
She gushed that the conditioner is “affordable and works way better” than pricier alternatives.
HEALTHY HAIR
Hundreds of Redditors upvoted the post and said they were eager to try it for themselves.
“Okay buying it immediately! I need something like this!” one person said.
“Thanks for sharing! I’m definitely going to give it a try soon,” another wrote.
Other commenters revealed they’d already tried the product, which has a 4.5-star rating on Amazon.
“I agree, my hair was in horrible condition and this is the only thing that I’ve found that I can genuinely feel the difference,” one person said.
