Switzerland beat Italy to head into last 8 of EURO 2024

BERLIN, 29th June, 2024 (WAM) - Euro 2024 continued on Saturday with the Round of 16, as Switzerland beat Italy, 2-0, to advance to the quartefinals.

Defending champions Italy have crashed out of Euro 2024 with a 2-0 defeat against Switzerland in Berlin.

Remo Freuler completed tidy move to put Swiss ahead and Ruben Vargas added a second goal after the break.
