On Displaying/Teaching the 'Ten Commandments' and 'The Bible' in the Schools, Repsectively in Louisiana, and Oklahoma

The Gov. of Louisiana and the Superintendant of Schools in Oklahoma have recently introduced the mandated offering/teaching of religious texts into the public school in their respective states. This column contains some commentary, historical and otherwise, on the actions taken.
