Trump's jet sits next to Russian government plane for two days in 'isolated' area: report

0

Donald Trump's private jet sat overnight next to a diplomatic aircraft for the Russian government at Washington Dulles International Airport, according to a reporter's photos.

Raw Story reported on Friday that Trump's private Boeing 757, sometimes referred to as "Trump Force One," was sitting next to the Russian government plane. Social media users reacted with jokes, but it was also noted that it was unclear exactly how this happened, and that it could easily have been a coincidence.

The next day, there was and update from the individual who released the initial photos, freelance reporter Andrew Leyden.

"Saturday Update: Trump’s plane is still at IAD next to the Russian government plane, which appears to be readying to leave soon," Leyden reported. "A United Arab Emirates Air Force C-17 is also parked nearby today."

Three hours later, Leyden noted the "Russian plane has just left IAD."

One commenter asked Leyden, "Any non-trump U.S. planes parked near by? Thank you."

"No," the reporter replied. "This is a very isolated part of the airport between the runways not near the terminals or main airport parking area."
