Bay lose pre-season opener

BAY’s opening game of pre-season ended in 2-0 defeat at home to Llanrwst United.

Llanrwst went ahead after 10 minutes through Morgan McBreeze.

Bay twice struck the woodwork in the first half through a deflected Cai Owen shot and a Lewis Sirrell header.

The Seagulls, with the management team of Mike Wilde and Danny Harrison in charge of their first game since taking over, created a number of chances.

Sam Thomas doubled Llanrwst’s advantage before debutant Gwion Dafydd struck the woodwork for the Seagulls.
