Former Blue Devil Seth Curry Waived By Hornets
He could still be back with his hometown team however
Since leaving Duke in 2013, Seth Curry has carved out a solid NBA career despite not being drafted.
He got a one-game shot with Memphis in 2013-14, but really started his pro career in Sacramento in 2015 and he's been in the league ever since. Like his father, Dell, and his brother Stephen, Seth’s great talent is shooting and everyone can use more of that.
Unfortunately, Curry, who had been with his hometown Charlotte Hornets, was waived Friday.
However, he could still re-sign with the team or he might move on to another team looking for a talented outside shooter. The league puts a premium on three point shooting and not many people shoot the long ball better than Curry. He’ll find a spot soon.
