14-year-old arrested in connection with Albany shooting
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A 14-year-old boy was arrested on Friday in connection with the shooting of a 15-year-old boy, according to Albany Police. Police say the shooting occurred early Friday morning on Liebel Street.

- Second-degree criminal possession of a weapon
Officers responded to Liebel Street for reports of a shooting around 1:30 a.m. They say they located a 15-year-old boy with a leg gunshot wound who was treated on scene before being transferred to Albany Medical Center. Police report he is in stable condition.
The suspect was found on scene and taken into custody, according to the police. Albany Police Department reports that a nine-millimeter handgun was recovered on the scene and that the 14-year-old and victim knew each other.
The 14-year-old was arraigned in Albany County Family Court before being released to his parental guardian.
