Modi govt committed to ensure safe, smooth Amarnath Yatra: Amit Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah assured that the Modi government is fully dedicated to ensuring a safe and comfortable pilgrimage for devotees visiting the Amarnath cave shrine. The annual Amarnath Yatra commenced with the departure of the first batch from Baltal and Nunwan base camps towards the 3,880-metre-high cave shrine in the south Kashmir Himalayas. Shah emphasized the significance of the yatra as a symbol of India's cultural tradition and continuity.
