Report: Four clubs interested in out-of-favour Tottenham man
The future of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has been one of the hottest topics of the summer when it comes to Tottenham with the midfielder impressing at Euro 2024.
According to The Times, the race for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg’s signature is now heating up, with the Dane on the wishlist of four different sides across Europe.
With Hojbjerg having just a year left on his contract at Spurs, it looks inevitable that the 28-year-old’s four-year stay at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium would come to an end this summer.
Earlier this month, the midfielder’s agent Luca Puccinelli, publicly admitted what has been an open secret for a long time, confirming that he is on the lookout for a new club for his client, with the Italian agent confirming that the player wants to move to a club where he can compete for silverware (Fabrizio Romano).
He said: “A player like him will surely be part of a club with great ambition or project because he is not just a strong player, but with a character made to fight for important things every year. Pierre feel comfortable in the pressure to win and I am working in this sense.
“He is telling me that every year he dream of trophies in the end of the season and don’t like to play for nothing. This is his mindset, this is the mission.
“I am working on the many requests that we have already received, yes; but we will analyse all the possibilities after the Euros, during the holidays when we will spend some time together and then look forward to the next chapter”.

Hojbjerg has plenty of interest this summer
The Times have now said that Hojbjerg’s list of admirers is continuing to grow on the back of the Tottenham man’s impressive showing at the Euros for Denmark.
The report says that to date, four different sides have expressed interest in taking the 28-year-old off Tottenham’s hands this summer.
Among those four are thought to be Atletico Madrid and Napoli, where former Spurs boss Antonio Conte is now in charge.

Hojbjerg is a model professional and he would not want to deal with any transfer distractions while he is at the Euros.
I would expect negotiations over his future to speed up once Denmark exit the tournament.
