Based on preliminary election results in Iran, Ebrahim Raisi has been declared the frontrunner with 5,354,000 votes out of a total of 12,057,843 votes counted.

Iranian media reported today, Saturday, June 29, that these results cover votes from 32,244 polling stations across various regions of Iran.

According to reports, Ebrahim Raisi secured 5,354,000 votes, Saeed Jalili received 4,875,269 votes, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf garnered over 1,620,000 votes, and Mostafa Mirsalim obtained 951,172 votes.

The 14th presidential election in Iran commenced at 8 AM yesterday and continued until midnight.

Meanwhile, Mohsen Esmaeili, the spokesperson for Iran’s Election Headquarters, mentioned that if no candidates secure an absolute majority in the first round, the election will proceed to a second round.
