Inflation in Italy remains low in June

ROME, June 28 (Xinhua) -- Prices in Italy rose just 0.8 percent in June, preliminary data from the Italian government reported Friday, the seventh time in eight months that the price increase was below 1.0 percent year-on-year.

ISTAT, Italy's National Statistics Institute, said prices in June were 0.1 percent higher than a month earlier and 0.8 percent above prices for the same month in 2023.
