Pocket money or bank of grandparents are now funding school trips amid cost-of-living crisis, as a third of parents claim they are just too expensive

Parents are falling back on grandparents to help cover costs of school excursions or children are paying themselves using pocket money, public insurer Zurich Municipal found.
