You helped me leave my violent ex

DEAR DEIDRE: My violent ex destroyed my confidence, but with your help I’m putting my life back on track and starting a career as a big bust model.

After years in a violent relationship, I wrote to you for help.

I knew I needed to leave my abusive partner, but I couldn’t find the strength.

I’m 28 and he’s 38. We were together for six years.

During that time he beat me and destroyed my self-esteem, making me feel so ugly that nobody else would want me.

Talking really helped, but I still wasn’t ready.

Then my partner battered me again, leaving me covered in bruises.
This time, I contacted the police and got him removed from the flat. He can’t come near me.

Since then, I’ve started rebuilding my life and now I’m starting a new career as a big bust model – something I would never have had the confidence to do while I was with him.
