LOVE Island fans have accused the show of being fixed after bombshell Jessy Potts coupled up with Joey Essex.

The newcomer was told to pick a boy to steal last night – moments before Love Island announced a public vote that would axe the least popular pairing from the show.

New bombshells and their partners are always given immunity from the vote, which meant that Joey was immediately saved too.

And it wasn’t the first time he’d had the golden ticket, as he was also saved when Grace Jackson picked him when she entered as a bombshell.

She stole him from Samantha Kenny who was swiftly dumped from the island.

The familiar turn of events led some fans to insist that producers had pulled some strings to keep Joey on screen.

“Such a fix so no one dramatic gets dumped. Like we can’t figure it out,” one fan moaned.

Another blasted: “Funny how producers bring in the favourite couple vote as soon as Joey is selected.”

A third ranted: “boooo jess and joey being immune its a fix”

And a fourth person chimed: “Of course @LoveIsland producers will tell the new girl to choose #Joey to make him exempt from the public vote!”

Exes Joey and Grace reunited on Love Island earlier this month but they hit the rocks when they they found out the public have been slamming them after Samantha was axed.

Former Towie star Joey landed himself in hot water with his love interest Grace after going on a date with new bombshell Jessy.

Viewers are also unable to vote out Jess White after newcomer Trey picked her to couple up with.

Meanwhile, Joey has created bucket loads of drama on Love Island – and last night shared a secret snog with Jessy after she picked him to couple up with.

Tonight will see one couple axed from the island after the public have been busy voting for their favourite couple.
