Aid for Trade vital to help seize energy transition opportunities, WTO report reveals

A WTO Secretariat report launched on 28 June at the Global Review of Aid for Trade identifies the significant trade opportunities available to developing economies and least-developed countries (LDCs) as the world transitions to cleaner energy sources. The report, titled “Aid for Trade in Action: Supporting the transition to clean energy”, emphasizes the crucial role of development finance in helping these economies realize emerging opportunities in global value chains for products and services related to clean energy.
